Chinese New Year Eve : woke up very late...sleep until 12pm then wake up...so woke up eat lunch then get ready for the dinner at home...as we were having steamboat so must prepare lots of stuffs 1st...then time flies and dinner time...eat eat eat until 6.30pm then went into my room to watch some LD vcd until 8+ then watch some show shown on the TV...so after that watched the CNY show then finally was 12am and got my 1st red packet...lol...then sleep

Chinese New Year (1st Day) : no need to wake up so early so sleep a bit longer so after that went to my grandma (Father's Side) for a while then move on to my parents' friends hse...quite many ppl there so had lunch there at stayed there for a while and then went to the temple...after going to the temple we went to my grandma (Mother's side) and have dinner over there...so wanted to start majong at 5pm but my cousins not there yet so pay $0.5 $1 majong with my parents and grandma...lol...i won $9 total so next was me and my cousins playing...cuz the last round we have to pay a 5-fan cards so need to pay $32 so in the end lose $4 but before that won $9 so total win is $5...then went home sleep

CHinese New Year (2nd Day) : 1st went to my grandma (Mother's Side) hse to pick her up and go to my mother's aunt hse then after that went to another aunt hse...we went to her hse to play blackjack...at first luck not good but until ending that time...luck was better and finally won $20 and my father won $16...went back to my grandma hse to have majong session again but this time i'm not involved...so have the yu sheng so went home...then at 10pm then go to the satay club there eat supper...services damn slow lar...satay not fully cooked...fish n chips waited for 30mins...wow terrible man...so went home watch tv and sleep

Today got to wake up early cuz got the Majulah Singapura and Song Of The Brave we need to play for the school...then today not bad played school song once but sang Majulah 3 times...so after that mr simen talked about his past when he was young that time and blah blah blah...so now going to have a summary of all the lessons today...

Mother Tongue--mr simen talked for almost 1 and 1/2 hours so MT lesson was skipped

CH (Histroy)-- mr tan was late and when he came back he talked about the test tmr(13/2) going to be an open book test on essay writing and he also said about some Germany and France stuffs

E -Maths-- maths today was ok lar...mdm lee spent 1st half of the lesson talking about laws and other stuffs and spent 15 mins telling us to have a better attitude to maths and after that was recess

Recess-- SKIPPPED

Physics-- mr tan was scolding 2 sec1 guys cuz they fight or what then he also give us back our 1st physics class test paper...failed only got 6/30 then only got like >5 pass...so whole lesson going through the corrections of the test

English Language-- mrs lee today wanted us to do 2 more jourals writings...she also want us to complete the comprehension worksheet within 40mins and ask us to read the newspaper

Pure Geography-- today got back our geo test paper...did ok lar got 9/15 then the rest of the lesson was going throgh the paper and watching some videos

Biology-- mr azman today went through what will be out for the class test on thurs(15/2) and asked us to buy a 5-year series o lvl biology workbook...then also told us about the o lvl results this year....so aftetr that went for band

FAILURE

today must wake up very early cuz got extra lesson for A-Maths by miss clare choy...so reached school at 7.25am then jusr right timing miss choy also just arrived...so do some questions until 8.15am...then got morning assembly...today got improvement cuz we only sing the NA once...then simon talk talk talk until no maths lesson...so shiok...so 1st lesson is A-Maths again...not bad lar after that was EL...was ok too...then recess...

after recess got chemistry test...papaer still ok lar but i know i lost 3 marks already...then after that was geography lesson...the lesson like slack lor...the teacher let us do whatever we want...then after that got BAND>>>>.<<<<

band start off with sectional with the sec1...then at 5pm we got footdrill test...we are 1st separated into section by section...then our turn was horns,trumpet and tuba together...1st command already wrong...how to pass...then after the section by section footdrill, we all do it together...then after all only 3 sec3 pass...aiya nvm lar...life is like that...we going to have a re-test on 23 i think...then fall-out miss ong ask me and gary some band stuffs...shhhhh....

and ya tmr we going to watch the rugby match...then rest of the school go watch softball final and the caneball in malay dunno how to spell...lol...then if softball wins...we will not have school on friday...

SCIENCE = BORING

today woke up and went sch already...so reached school bought can of milo and and after that make way up my classroom....heng is 2nd floor only...then reached there saw some do homework, some doing nothing and some staring in the air....then suddenly mrs lee appeared to pass key for those doing duty to open the door and tidy up the classroom...then we must all make our way down and have assembly there....after that got another long-winded speech by mr simon and liao again...so boring...then talked until 10.25 like that then go up for EL lesson which is conducted by mrs lee but she didnt teach anything then last 5min that time a teacher came in...saying dont know what SP course to take...listen until like want to join but now got 8 subjects already so dont know can manage anot....

then was PE lesson...mr toh our PE teacher....he has been teaching me PE since last year..dont know still remember me anot...xD...then take height and weight...for me is 62kg and 164cm...lol

then was chem lesson...the teacher is still ok quite nice and friendly so sat with chong jun and after that was recess

recess time met aaron, joshua, rainald, joseph, kenneth ang and clarence..we all standing in the middle as if not chair like that...recess was over then prepare for SS

SS's teacher was my last year history teacher...well the lesson is still ok heng the room got air-con...so shiok..we did group work for about 1 hour then time for physics

physics teacher was one of my band teacher, mr tan...and just like rainald said..his style was like military style...the lesson all talked about SPA thing..so boring

First Day Of School

today 1st day of school so must wake up at 7.15 like that...nvr so early for the past 2 mths...so wash up and bathed, changed and made my way to school...then reached school 1st saw gary and aaron talking near the cantenn there so go join in ...lol...then 1 min later joshua and gerald came in...then gerald or gary said that our form teacher had changed from mdm lee to mrs lee ...the english teacher...so stayed there until 8.15am then we went to our class...stayed there for 1+ hrs listening to simon and others talking and check our grooming until 9.15am then make our way up to the 2nd floor our classroom which has no air con only fan...but is quite windy so ok lar...so sit with gerald in the 1st roll then the teacher started to talk all the lame stuffs...then until 12pm should be our recess then she said nvr hear the bell rang so only let us go at 12.20pm then no time to eat already lor...then after recess she changed our sits again and i starting should be sitting with alif at the middle but then she changed alif and gerald sat beside me again...then until 1.30pm school ends so went canteen eat then go band...played song of the brave, overture to a new age and MS...so after band went home with ivan taking the same bus and the same stop as me...

If an oboe is not available, it is still possible to perform this work by playing the cues shown in Trumpet 1 for Singapore Sunrise and Clarinet 1 for Night Safari.

Night Safari:fig 21 et seq. Clarinets and saxophones instructed to remove mouthpieces may prefer alternatively to use a second mouthpiece though this should not be necessary.

Programme Note:This work consists of two movements which may be played together or separately. Each movement lasts around three and a half minutes.

The first, Singapore Sunrise, is suitable for school bands, and is based on the Singaporean melody ‘Ikan Kekek’. It’s characterised by a mysterious opening with early-morning birdcalls on woodwinds before the melody takes over and rises to a climax.

Night Safari is intended for slightly more advanced bands and is a depiction of Singapore’s world famous Safari Park that can be visited only in the dark. I have tried to capture a sense of excitement and danger as the wild animals are seen (or sometimes just heard) in their natural habitat. The piece is a sort of jazz waltz, but with a lot of surprising sounds!

Sunrise and Safari was commissioned as the test piece for concert bands for the Singapore Youth Festival 2007.

BAND CAMP

Day 1
23/11/2006

Woke up this morning at around 6am then go wash up and prepare to go school for the camp...
reached school at around 6.20am?then saw some of them there already so chatted until it was time to fall-in...then when everyone was ready and was in their groups already then we went to pitch our tents...the 1st tent we pitched was broken so have to take another 1 zzz waste time... after that went back to gallery then was brief about the so call 'iron chef' cooking com so each group was given only $15 to buy the things we need to cook...so went to hougang mall ntuc to buy...we bought chicken, mashed potato and black pepper sauce and total was $14.95 just right...hehhehe....then went back school get everything started and start cooking and at last our effort was paid off...we won 1st!!!!!!!!!!!! when every1 was tasting the food i only got a piece of our chicken and the rest was taken by others think should be nice so so many people take...hahaha then went band room set up horn and make our way to AMKSS for exchange...went there WSS was there already so make our way up the hall and play FOTF for 60 bars...played until so bad lor..so pai sai...so after everything sukit told us to ice breaking so we broke into sections and started intro ourselves...so malu...went back school bathed and went for dinner..after that went for a night walk to sengkang and on the way must find 1. a red moving car 2. sbs bus 161 3. a cat 4. a public phone 5. a mrt signboard of sengkang...so after that every1 was so tired already some went back tent to sleep where others stayed at gallery to talk,play and eat...so i tired to sleep also but very difficult cuz hot inside so joshua asked me want to play cards anot at the gallery so say ok lor...then went up gallery to play poker big2...then the sec4 also come.. then ask timmi to help us buy snacks from 7-11 and eat,play cards and chatted until 4am like that then some go play basketball then i tired to go back and sleep.....

Day 2
24/11/2006

Today woke up at 6am then feel tired so went back to sleep until 7am...then go wash up until it was breakfast time...went to the D and T block there for breakfast...only got biscuits and bread with jam or peanut butter and some milo...after that the alarm8 came then we were brief about the scavenger hunt which would take part in 30 mins time...so we must collect or do 30 items around marine square and the prime area of singapore...took us 3+ hrs to finish then on the way i bought a K.C from coffee bean :) not bad...then the bus was late and have to wait for 30mins then come...so brought ur stuffs up and head back for school...when arrived in school...!!!!!!!!!!!our tents were all wet and all our things were also wet so we have to bring our stuffs to the gallery to hang up to dry...lucky only my pillow and sleeping is wet...heng ar...uckily still got clothes to change...before going to bathe our new instruments arrived!!!! but is all yamaha 1...the rest havent but horn is not going to have any new instrument....:'( then after shower went to D and T block to help to prepare the farewell dinner for the sec4 which happen to be steamboat...had fun with the eating and after that there was a huge cake for them to cut and then went band room to play songs...all the songs also dont know how to play cuz 1st time see so at 12am the teachers came in and asked us to stop...so went gallery tired to sleep but some of them playing soccer there so didnt sleep yet...then sherman, jin bin and clarance and i playing big2 then at 1.30am we went to another table to play poker...those 5 cards1 then hungry also went to another table to eat steamboat...then there was this bottle of drink called vonka...think so which contaon 40% alcohoic then played SPS with jeremy and loser must drink a cap of it...then i think he drank about 10+ of it and i only drank1 hahaha...so after that went to sleep already....

Finally last day of the camp...we were asked to packed up our tents and do some area cleaning...after that it was time for the prizes giving ceremony....

Band Camp Tomorrow

1st of all this band camp would be the last band camp in 2006...next band camp think should be during next year's march holidays...bet not band camp next year should be call Band's Tough Training Camp cuz next year syf already..no joke...no playing around...after this band camp there would be a chalet organized by the sec4 during the end of dec...saw the prizes for this camp already mostly sweets and a dice...=.='''zzz dunno why buy that for...

2ndly...still have my holidays homework yet to be done...dunno why give us homework for what? sece3 next year got to catch up my studies already cuz this end-of-year results not that good...but i know alif feel like killing the last person who got into 3e1 next year right...saw next year's books already...can die...

2. Parents Think That They Know What's Best For Us, But In Fact They Don't, They Just Assume.

3. Before You Order Someone To Do Something, You Should Think Of This, ' Does He Have A Choice?'. If He Has A Choice, You Should Let Him Decide Not You, If He Does't Want To Do Should, Let Him Be, You Cannot Force Him To Do So, Not Even Thinking Of The Outcome Of The Choice You Made For Him, That May Lead To Being Selfish.

Imagine you are now a 23 year-old young man starting working in a company. Shortly this man entered this company, the company is hosting a company trip to a nearby country for a 4D3N stay. The cost of this trip was only $200 so this man happily agreed with the company as he just stepped into the company and he knew that the trip with the company would have lots of fun as promised by the boss. But when he reached home his parents said that it had been some time that they had taken a flight so they asked him to follow them. But before that on mother side, the mother was lucky that she could take leave during the period because her company has to block leave due to some reason so he asked the man if him and his father can go without her as she cannot leave the office. So when the company allowed her take leave she quickly went to check for tickets. The company trip was 12th to 15th so before that on the 11th the company is going to have an exchange with another company which would give the young man a good chance to prove himself to the company because he just joined the company. But the trip with the parents was on the 11th to 14th so this man has to choose from 1 of them, but he cannot as the parents are forcing him to follow them to the trip.The mother can don't want to go the trip also can leaving the son and father, but why cant the child leave they parents and they can treat it like a trip on their own.This is an example of being selfish. So the parents even ordered the air tickets for him before he could make any decision and this is an example of sentence 2 and sectence 3. The parents would not even let the child have a right to say in the family and when the man starts to give some clues that he doesn't want to go with them but they just do nothing about it. But when the man gave the last clue, the parent just asked him once if he wanted to follow them anot. The parent would not try to ask him again and just everything to be in their way. This is an example of sentence 3. After that they went to the travel agency to collect the tickets. Upon reaching there they just went to asked for infomation without the man and finally at the very moment the parent signed on the bill, the man's heart sank to the bottom. So this would be the example of the 3 sentences.

Why would the parents be like that???
Why they cant even ask their child???
Why they wanted to decide everything for them???
Why they want to be so selfish???
WHY??? WHY??? WHY???
